My friend Fzat giving the final bob hund Fzzxkrrrxzt! prototype a go in the Reuss work shop. The pedal is based on the Swedish cult band's two vintage Maestro pedals, a FZ-1A and a FZ-1S. Two completely different circuits and sounds, despite the similar names. My Danish electronics enginnering partner had both original bob hund pedals in the lab for the cloning process, the biggest hurdle being the design of a silicon based sound-a-like / work-a-like to the old germanium based FZ-1A. It got very nerdy and he went into an extreme level of perfectionism (which delayed development a bit). We are both extremely proud of the result, which I, in all modesty, believe is the best analog germanium transistor fuzz emulation ever designed. Yes, it is that good. If everything runs smoothly from now (late September 2021), I believe I can start shipping the pedals before x-mas, which is a later than originally announced. Sorry to those who made early preorders.
