Sama’ now gears up for a string of shows across North and South America this spring where she’ll bring her distinctive full-bodied techno sound to the States. In 2022, Sama’ started up the Bring Back Beirut fundraising initiative in aid of liquidity crisis-afflicted Lebanon, hosting shows in cities including Paris, London, Berlin, and her adopted home of Beirut. As one of Palestine’s biggest exports, the DJ and producer is now taking the world by storm and is even set to star in a brand new documentary created by a selection of Middle Eastern directors and producers in the coming months. On her residency she says: “I am hugely excited to join the long list of iconic artists who have hosted the 4 Fridays at Phonox residency in London, I loved playing at the club earlier this year for my Bring Back Beirut fundraiser and loved the energy of the loyal crowd who party there. I am bringing with me my Union collective crew again, plus have invited two artists whom I respect hugely – Jennifer Cardini and Victor Ruiz.” – Sama’ Abdulhadi.
