Instructions: 0. WARNING TEXT WALL AHEAD! Btw this is my longest tutorial by far 1. Click on new enter any name you want but I prefer to call the VM Xenix 2. In the two dropdown menus select “Type Other” “Version Other/Unknown” click next 3. Allocate about 4-16mb of RAM click next, click create then again next 4. On the HDD 0 Config prompt enter “q” at the next prompt enter “2” to reserve the whole (virtual) Disk space for Xenix 12. Next press enter and then “q” and after that again “q” then press enter again(x2) 13. At the prompt if you want a seperate /u directory enter “n” at the next prompt also “n” 14. Close the VM goto Settings and Change the boot order under “System” (disable “Optical”) and place the Floppy beneath the HDD also put image “N1” back into the floppy controller 15. Start the VM and press enter at the Boot: prompt 16. At the Prompt enter the Serial number(ltd000825) and the Activation key(ylwbrzan) 17. Press enter to reboot and then again enter at the Boot: prompt 18. Insert Image “N3” and press enter then repeat this step for B1 and B2 19. Enter a Password assigned to the user “root” and store it in a safe place else you wont get into the machine easily (Unix-like Operating Systems usually dont even show asterisks so you better not write your password wrong) 20. Then enter every timezone prompt according to your location and if it uses summer time 21. At “Current Disk Usage” enter “2” and then “1” 22. Insert Image “X1” then enter “1” and then “all” then press enter when it asks you to insert X1 cause its already inserted (at least it should be) and repeat this (insert + enter) for X2, X3, X4, X5, X6 and X7 23. At “[…] consists of only a root filesystem” enter “y” 24. Enter and confirm a password for backup and sysadmin(refer to step 19) 25. At the terminfo prompt enter “n” then insert Image “N2” and press enter 26. repeat (insert + enter) for “N4” and “N5” then enter the Serial number (ltd000825) and activation key (ylwbrzan) again then insert “N6” and press enter 27. enter “6” and then “2” 28. Instert Image “D1” and press enter then enter “1” and then “all” then press enter then insert “D2” and again press enter same for D3, D4, D5 and D6 29. At the prompt below “Restricted Rights Legend” insert the serial number (sco005715) and activation key (eyxtnkko) 30. enter “q” insert “N5” and press enter same for “N6” then enter “6” JUMP TO STEP 33 IF YOU WON’T INSTALL GAMES OPTIONAL (Games) 31.
