8.02, 9.09, 7.85, 11.20, DNF (7.62) = 9.44 avg The cube was clearly solved at the end of the last one, but then I did something really stupid. I'd been awaiting this average for so long. Life lately hasn't been easy and I really needed that breakthrough. I was so emotional that I hit the table, the cube flew with it and there was 1 move done. I was very confused, I initially thought it was my warmup cube that I had sent flying but then I saw it wasn't. After some discussion between the French delegates, the last solve was entered as a DNF. It will be sent to the WRC for further review but I was told not to expect any change I was and still am devastated. But I held back from exploding because I didn't want to let it ruin my competition. It is an average I deserve. I am proud of the solves and solutions. I have been working relentlessly over the past year to achieve exactly that.
