I will take you to a wrapping operation in Fribourg with a special wrapping plastic called Agrirepel® Wrap (www.agrirepel.com). The purpose of the video was to visit the historic farm managed by Jaques to have him test a potential solution to a problem he has been doing to me annually since I have known him. During the summer, it was unfortunately daily that Jaques saw the wrapping bales he had just been kicked by crows before he could even come back to the plot to pick them up. While during the winter, rodents attack the boots at the base of the piles and also cause significant losses. When the Agrirepel® Wrap brand contacted me for a design around a wrapping plastic that promised protective properties against rodents and birds, I knew who could test it. The work began in the morning with the preparation of the equipment. The purpose of the day was to carry out a traditional bundling day using Agrirepel® Wrap plastic to test its resistance to pests. A more extreme test was set up on the day of the boot-up to get an overview of these capabilities a few days later. A visit to a farm in Vaud that has been using Agrirepel® Wrap plastic for several years gave us a second insight into these capacities. Have a good viewing!
