How to get Slimes to Spawn in Minecraft? Simple. Go to your nearest swamp biome, and have some patience. After trying many ways of spawning slimes or obtaining slimeballs, I can finally share with you that the simplest way is to just wait it out in a swamp biome. Fishing for slimeballs didn't work, and so far I have been unable to spawn slimes in an underground slime chunk. You can wait for slimes to spawn in a swamp biome on almost any night, except when it is New Moon. You will also struggle to find slimes the night before, and the night after, New moon. Any other night, especially full moon, is best. And then you just needs some patience. Slimes tend to spawn quite late into the night, well after most of the other Minecraft Mobs have spawned. And since you need slimeballs to make sticky pistons and leads (leash), you will have to master finding slime in Minecraft.
