after less than one year I came back to my favorite Okinawa island Kumejima and home at Amimoto 💝 Minshuku Guesthouse Hotel http://www.amimotonyanko.com/ this time I'm staying for an entire week so I chose the cheaper room that still has Oceanside View and the shower and restrooms are shared. the dinner was everyday incredibly delicious and incredibly cheap you get so many dishes that are different every day showcasing the local Okinawan foods and the very fresh local grown shrimp and seafood and delicious seaweed. this island has its own white Beach and the world heritage geological site Tatami Rocks just 8 minutes walk from the guest house, and for the first time I actually swam just next to these rocks everyday and it was wonderful the most clean ocean ever!! of course I also took the paid boat trips to the so-called Japan's most beautiful beach HATENOHAMA but Ou Island is lovely enough if you can't spend so much money on the boat. I very much prefer Ou Island instead of the bigger Kumejima Island because it is secluded and has a more luxurious feel as there are almost no people around. Also Kumejima always has a crown of Clouds but Ou Island is clear!! however the biggest reason I come here is because the owners of AMIMOTO MINSHUKU Guesthouse Hotel are soooooooo lovely and kind and make me feel safe and cared for and dear to them as they are dear to me.
