Fisherman washed into water by HUGE wave!

In this episode, I head out rock fishing to chase some end of season pelagics however things didn’t go exactly to plan. I chose to fish this spot to get out of the southerly swell and was safe if you picked a spot that was dry. Unfortunately a fisherman that was close to one of the ledges got swept in by a wave during the change of tide. The swell changed direction and created a big surge which swept him off his feet and into the water. Luckily there was a boat trolling nearby which came to his rescue and saved the man. I wanted to release this video for educational purposes and to show how dangerous rock fishing can be. Please adhere to the local rules and regulations of the area you are fishing, wear rock cleats, a life jacket, have a rope nearby and fish with a friend.
