After gaining a huge newfound appreciation for Kingdom Hearts 1, I was a little worried Kingdom Hearts 2 wouldn't hit as hard this time around. I took this video as a chance to re-evaluate why KH2 was my favorite KH game to begin with. I originally was only going to use Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix as my frame of reference, but I played the original Kingdom Hearts 2 just to be fair, since I did it for KH1. I did two playthroughs of Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix and one playthrough of the original PS2 Kingdom Hearts II for this one. A little behind the scenes info: Cutscenes in the video are a combination of Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD ReMix as well as the original Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+ on pcsx2 with widescreen + 60fps hacks. Some cutscenes in the KH2FM+ I could not get in 60fps because the codes I used have a built in FMV fix to lock them at 30fps (this prevents pre-rendered cutscenes from playing at double speed). Some of the real-time cutscenes end up getting mistaken for pre-rendered and come out 30fps. Oh well. Overall I think I handled it as best as I could. Why Everyone Loves Kingdom Hearts II
