In this Tech Tuesday episode, Jacob walks you through how to properly set up multiple FuelTech EGT-4 CAN modules—from plugging in and connecting the hardware to fully configuring them in the FuelTech software. This tutorial is perfect for those looking to monitor multiple EGT-4 modules for more advanced engine data. 📌Labelling cylinders: 1. Open Quick Access Panel 2. Scroll to "CAN Communication" --- then click "EGT CAN" 3. Label Box A as: Cylinder 1/3/5/7 4. Label Box B as: Cylinder 2/4/6/8 5. Click Write ECU to finalize 📌 Pairing with the Software: 1. Click "tools" (on the top) --- click "CAN Network" 2. Unplug A box (which is labelled as 1/3/5/7) in order for the software to identify a second EGT box (in this case, this will be known as your box B) 3. Go back to the software and find "Change To" towards the bottom of the page, and click on "Model B" in the drop down. 4. You can then plug the Box A back in. The software has successfully identified two EGT Boxes. :) 📣 Have questions for future Tech Tuesday videos? Drop them in the comments—we’d love to feature your topic next! Like the video?
