Casey McPherson - The Peace of Christmas

So I get into the upstairs lounge on the tour bus after the Flying Colors concert in Tilburg, Netherlands a few weeks ago and Casey says to me “hey man, I need to write a Christmas song for my church.” “Now?” It’s like 1:00AM and I’m dead tired… He starts pluncking out this verse that’s vibey and very cool and says he needs a chorus that a choir can sing. This is definitely in my wheelhouse so I ask him just before I go to bed, “what is the song about?” and he says simply, “peace“. So I thought of the verse in the Bible where it says that God will keep the person in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on him. And I sang out a simple chorus and he put it on his phone and I went to bed. Little did I know that it was going to become THIS! This is INSANELY cool!
