Celebrating our 30s in New Zealand on a Working Holiday Visa! | Housesitting, Skydiving, Skiing!

We're now entering the half way mark of our New Zealand Working Holiday Visa! In this episode, we’re sharing what life has been like on our New Zealand Working Holiday Visa, including how we’ve been able to travel more while keeping costs low through housesitting. We booked our sit through KiwiHouseSitters, and it turned out to be such a great (and budget-friendly) way to experience local life in NZ! Then it was time to celebrate Joey’s 30th birthday 🥳 We went on a mini South Island adventure, did a birthday photoshoot at some of the most scenic spots (especially around Aoraki / Mt Cook), and checked off a huge bucket list moment — skydiving at Mt Cook with unreal views of mountains, glaciers, and lakes 😭💙 To wrap up the trip, we headed to Queenstown for more fun: ⛷️ Skiing at The Remarkables — honestly one of the most beginner-friendly ski fields we’ve ever been to! 🐦 And finally, we visited Kiwi Park Queenstown in hopes of seeing a REAL kiwi bird! We're a Singaporean couple who left our 9-to-5 lives behind to embark on a 1-year working holiday in New Zealand!
