Step 1: REMOVE ALL CARTRIDGE. We need to remove all cartridges. Remove ink and cartridge. How to remove ink and cartridges? Turn the printer ON, lift the upper body to access the cartridge, and remove the cartridge by pushing it down. Step 2: ENTER 0 MODE. Now we need to enter 0 mode. I call this 0 mode because it simply shows "0" on the display. How to enter 0 mode on the Canon MP198 model? Turn the printer OFF. Close the front lid. Insert A PAPER into a paper tray. Press and HOLD the "stop/reset" button. Press and HOLD the "ON" button. Release the "stop/reset" button. Press and release the "stop/reset" button 2x. Release the "ON" button.
