Right (me): The real estate agent Center: Tanner, home buyer Left: Jason, the lender Tanner tells us how he went from a renter to a home buyer a LOT faster than he even expected. When Tanner called me in May he initially thought he would be ready by January or February. After talking to his lender, Jason, and running the numbers, Tanner called me and said he was ready NOW… yesterday 😂 He realized that buying a house was a lot more attainable than he thought, and he was ready to rock and roll. We went through his areas, his budget, and made a list of houses that seemed to check the boxes. Tanner picked his favorite house and within a couple of days we went and looked at it, made an offer, and exactly 30 days later I was handing him the keys. The icing on the cake was we were able to get Tanner $8,000 in credit from the seller that he used to buy his interest rate down and make his payments even more affordable.
