This weekend, we headed to Jelutong, Penang, for the kids' dental appointments and stumbled upon a durian paradise on Perak Road! 🚗💨 Join us as we explore the roadside durian stalls and discover the amazing varieties and prices available. After the dentist visit, we decided to take a stroll and check out the durian scene. From durian kampung and kahwin to the more famous varieties, Perak Road had it all! 🌳 We even treated ourselves to some delicious goreng pisang along the way – a perfect snack for a durian adventure. 🍌 Our main stop was at Ah Poh's Durian Stall, where we picked up some prepacked hor lor durians. Not only were the prices lower than those at Macalister Road and Burmah Road stalls, but the quality was also impressive. Although nothing beats the farm-fresh durians from Balik Pulau, these were definitely worth trying! 😋 We also grabbed some mangosteens from the same stall, and they were a hit with the kids.
