We wrap up the steam pipe repair project by mounting the two parts back in the locomotive and then brazing them together so that we have a perfect fit. After the braze job is started, the pipe is removed and brazing is finished. Next, the excess braze is ground away and cleaned up and then back to the locomotive once again to do the finial installation. With that, the smoke box is put back together and the locomotive is now ready for firing and testing.
