The Mission MXR is the flagship of Mission Archery's vertical bow lineup. Mission, as you may already know, is the more affordable cousin of Mathews, Inc. and the main reason we were excited to get one in for testing is because the new MXR shares the CrossCentric cam technology found on Mathews bows. Considering those Mathews bows retail for more than $1000 and the MXR comes in at $499, that seemed like good value to us. Mission sent us the MXR loaded with the Bowhunter Kit, which includes a QAD Hunter rest, Apex Reactor 5-arrow quiver, Tru-Glo Carbon XS Xtreme 5-pin sight, and 365 three-inch stabilizer. This accessories package is an enormous upgrade over what you typically find in package bows. Honestly, I'd have no trouble using any of these accessories on a $1000+ hunting bow. Everything is really solid and seems well built.
