I tried street videography with Sony FX3 & photography Fuji X-T3 Hello everyone, this is film story. How are you today? I really wanted to do some street photography, And I thought it’d be nice if I could do street videography at the same time. Also, I got two Tamron zoom lenses, 28-75 & 70-180, as well as freewell variable ND + Mist, so this video will be showcasing both the lenses and the filters, Man, I love the light coming through the buildings in the city. It naturally creates a scene. I think I will go out more often to capture the streets. Now I understand why people fall in love with architectural photography. And now let’s talk about the lenses. To simply put, I love them. First of all, they are optically superb for the price. Autofocus works great. They are lightweight, which was the very reason why I got them. I’ve used 24-70 GM before, but man, it’s too heavy for me to carry around. For 28-75, 28mm is wide enough for me, because I will not be vlogging, plus I already have 24 GM so that’ll cover the missing 4mm. In respect to 70-180 I’ve considered getting 70-200 f4 or sigma 85mm 1.4, But I ended up choosing the tamron, mainly because of the weight. Shooting video with 70-180 handheld is like a dream for me. For the missing 20mm, I can use a clear image zoom to cover it. There are 3 things I don’t like about the lenses. First, Zoom ring and the focus ring are placed differently than typical sony lenses. Second, dust can easily get inside the lens. Third, there are no af / mf buttons or aperture ring, which are helpful when shooting video. How did I find the filters? Well, I think they are pretty decent…for the price. They say the strength of the mist is 1/8, but I think it’s more than that. It’s rather closer to 1/4. I got both 2-5 and 6-9 stop filers, and I find that 6-9 is much stronger in terms of blooming effect. I will try to make a separate video to talk about this. In general, they are great for the price, and I am satisfied with the result. Anyways, thanks so much for watching. I hope you liked my video.
