*All bosses except for the Sisters because you cannot pick up the missile launcher on Hard difficulty. Engine written in Rust: https://github.com/doukutsu-rs/doukutsu-rs Make sure you get the Bubbline as we need it for Monster X and the Blood Stained Sanctuary / Sacred Grounds. Balrog All Balrog fights are essentially the same, you just have to evade differently Curly Brace I recommend using your Fireball. When they hit the wall they will bounce back and either hit Curly or the other Mimigas Omega I'd only use the Fireball here as well. Stay close and just blast Omega away Rabid Toroko / Frenzied Toroko This fight is a bit harder. I think a combination of Polar Star and Fireball works well As long as you can evade the throwing attack you should be fine Puu Black I recommend a level 1 or 2 Blade because you can attack very quickly as long as you are close You can stay underneath Puu Black for a short while but you have to move otherwise you will get hit Monster X (Phase 1) One of the hardest bosses. You should have your Sword at max for this fight Firstly, try to kill all Gaudis in the arena Stay on its treads. When it stops, shoot once or twice (maximum) with your Blade Instantly run away and use your Bubbline to fend off the projectiles Repeat until phase 2 Monster X (Phase 2) When it opens up, be underneath and shoot the Blade a few times (up to three times) up Then focus on the missiles The Blade can take out a few with one shot Core This is one of the hardest fights with 3HP The main idea is to keep shooting while instantly swapping between all of your weapons (tap shoot/switch weapon alternating) In the beginning jump onto the same block as in the video. This results in your Fireball hitting the core Once you fall down and you make your way back up onto the left location, stay on the block as shown in the video in order for your Fireball to hit the Core Make sure you keep an eye on the white projectiles from the smaller cores. Be careful if a small core is above or underneath you (I'd move to a different location because it's hard to dodge) Ironhead I'd just spam the Blade (level 2) into it Ma Pignon Charged Spur shots should do the trick Last Cave (Hidden) After doing it a couple of times, the platforming should become easier Red Ogre / Red Demon I recommend your Blade in level 1 or 2 Just spam the Blade while keeping the boss behind the protruding stones When he jumps up, just switch sides and keep spamming your Blade IMPORTANT: Make sure you do NOT have a level 3 Blade for Undead Core Misery Just charge your Spur and shoot her when you can. Easy enough Doctor Before starting the dialogue, charge your Spur and release it during the dialogue to get a free hit Just charge the Spur and shoot the Doctor, avoiding the crystal Muscle Doctor Level 2 charges are dealing a lot of damage already. Try to spam it as much as you can You can kill him before you see bats Undead Core At level 2 you can focus firstly on Misery and deal a lot of damage when you stand inside of her IMPORTANT: Misery will only shoot projectiles/spawn critters if you hit her or Sue. Just don't shoot anyone if you need a break and want to reposition yourself. If you stay on the ground, she will only spawn critters After Misery, focus on Sue. She only damages/kills you when she does her spin attack. Use the Blade to deal a lot of damage At the end, just use your Spur and focus on Undead Core. Keep in mind that it will shoot 3 undestroyable projectiles when its low on health. When Misery and Sue are down, Undead Core should be fairly easy Good luck not getting crushed on your way to the Prefab House Heavy Press Go into the fight with a charged Spur shot. Then just spam your Polar Star Focus on the Butes and only deal damage when you feel safe enough - no rush Ballos The first three phases are easy enough During this entire sequence you should have gotten enough XP to max your Blade Your Blade will deal a lot of damage in Phase 4 of the fight Just spam your Blade and don't focus on Ballos himself Focus on the Butes and take them out with Curly if they are too close At one point you possibly will go above Ballos to the other side. At a similar time he will spawn a few Butes from inside of him going upwards. Be very careful of them Keep spamming your Blade and Ballos should die Good luck!
