This road runs along the west bank of the Red River as it flows through central Hanoi. Specifically, it is the road located between the Nhat Tan Bridge and the Thang Long Bridge spanning the Red River in the city. Before the Nhat Tan Bridge was completed, this road served as a vital connection linking the city center to the Thang Long Bridge. Crossing the Thang Long Bridge to the north reveals a vast industrial zone. Continuing northward for several dozen kilometers brings you to Noi Bai Airport, Hanoi's main gateway to the skies. Before the Nhat Tan Bridge opened, the Thang Long Bridge was arguably the most important bridge, and this road used to carry tremendous traffic volume. At the same time, it suffered from chronic traffic congestion. Nowadays, one no longer experiences the congestion of the past. Running parallel to the Red River, this road offers good views of the river, the cityscape, and the scenery on the opposite bank. Driving along it late at night can evoke a somewhat sentimental mood.
