In this video, I explain all Multi-Prog device options in simple words, so beginners and professionals can use the tool safely and correctly. 🔧 Multi-Prog Device Options Explained (Short & Clear) 🔹 1. Serial EEPROM / Flash Used to read & write small memory chips (24Cxx, 25xxx, 95xxx). Stores VIN, immobilizer, mileage, coding data. Most common and safest option for ECU work. 🔹 2. SRAM Temporary memory (volatile). Data is lost when power is removed. Rarely used in automotive ECUs. 🔹 3. Renew Used to reset / virgin modules. Clears learned data like keys, VIN, adaptation. Useful when installing a used ECU or gearbox module. 🔹 4. Parallel Flash Old-type flash memory with wide data bus. Found in older ECUs. Needs correct pinout and careful handling. 🔹 5.
