Now the old dry-powered unit has been replaced with a brand new submersible unit, which is a BAD choice for the environment it's in. I'll give it 5 years before this motor also dies. If this motor were put in anywhere else besides this store, I wouldn't mind this at all! They should've gone with a new dry-powered unit or motor alone for this application. But for right now, this elevator is running great and better than it was before the motor died out.
