I never knew hiking on the Perito Moreno glacier would be so difficult! The southern ice field in Argentinian Patagonia contains the famous "Perito Moreno", one of the most famous glaciers in all of Patagonia. It's located within the Parque Nacional Los Glaciares outside of El Calafate, Argentina. In order to get to the glacier for your hike, you will take a bus from El Calafate to the National Park. From there, you will take a boat to the other side of the lake. From there, you will hike for about 1-1.5 hours to the point where the hike begins. Of course, then you have to come back to do it all over again!
