This week In The Weeds is stoked to sit down with grass roots activist Mike Wise of The Mike Show to talk about cannabis oil, Crohn's, sports, media, events, and saving LIVES! Mike Wise is a retired professional skateboarder and national champion athlete with The University of Texas where he graduated with a degree in Radio-Television-Film in 2009. He fights for the repeal of prohibition, and is most notably known for his work as an activist, filmmaker, gonzo radio and web TV show host, and medicine man. He has never been a fan of doctors, so when he got diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in 2014 he decided to take his health into his own hands. Mike is one of the most well known activists in the world. He ha been fighting for the legalization of cannabis oil in which he has cured over 2,000 people from a variety of diseases including terminal ones such as Cancer and Glioblastoma (brain tumors). Since moving to Europe in 2017, he has spoken at over 30 different countries all over the world on this topic. He also shot and directed: 'Illegally Alive' a film that is focused on several families who have had to relocate to different states in order to obtain access to medical cannabis for their children. Mike has his own Strain from OG labs which currently is being sold on the legal market in Switzerland as a 'tobacco substitute'. We can't wait to sit with Mike and hear his amazing story!
