Make Way for Industry This large home was custom built in 1981 and was lived in by only one family throughout its life. This is echoed by the fact that almost nothing had changed inside for 43 years. The owners did however convert a bathroom into a laundry room on the main floor, as well, they added a stair lift to accommodate them as they grew older. It was a huge property, they grew a lot of their own food, with vegetable fields along with fruit trees. But when developers came knocking and offered them $25 million for their property, how could they say no?
