Longer/Alt title: Journey to Atlantis Mack Rides Water Coaster at SeaWorld San Diego but with 4 Eras Simultaneously with Side by Side Comparisons (2004-2012, 2013-2018, 2019-2024, & 2025-Present) For those who are stopping by the video while those who are curious of this Specific version of Journey to Atlantis but I decided why not make a simultaneous comparison video showing Different POV clips of each era even if I didn't make POVs prior to 2016. Compared to other attractions that may be plain Roller Coasters trying to stay faithful of running the best condition possible along with the Immersive ones that's trying to stay faithful from when they originally opened by has changed along the way (Including It's a Small World, learn more from‪@benjaminroberson1924‬ if you want to see changes from that ride but stayed faithful to its purpose) Interestingly, Journey to Atlantis over the years has gone through the most changes out of all the SeaWorld rides of the same name (Which Florida's had been story based to just music while keeping the elaborate sets, & San Antonio's its just an average plain Mack Rides Super splash almost without themed elements). Plunge; Sit up Right Hold on Tight spiel from Maggie & later re-tracked in its last year of the 2019 era; & New Music that loops)-0:50 1st Pool Multi-Canon signs & Rockwork Flowthrough (Getting praised by narrator & overcoming to build up the next portion; Background Music to tie in the area but tone changes before the next portion [Not present in the used footage]; Same Music from lift hill but has pool color change to complete blue from 2018 & Maggie warns us towards the indoor portion; More adventurous tone for the BGM escaped the Repetition)-1:11 Indoor Portion (Barely anything to look in but has the Original Spiel from "the Lord of the Sea" & flooding effects plus sometimes with the Loud Crack noise toward the conclusion; First signs of Projection Mapping [Either the water flow or the Big Rotating Sun] & Flashing effects added along with thunder sound; Inside "Poseidon's Grotto" with some original special homage payed, feels mostly empty with the return of the Sun that was originally projected on a conveyor door in its small size but moved to the wall later; Advance Projection Mapping blending the existing wall with silhouettes of the Mermaid & the Antagonizing Octopus "Kraken" plus with physical S.E.A. Cargo placed on an archway increases length)-2:25 Tilting Elevator/Gantry Lift (Commerson Dolphins & Humpback Whale flooding the Submarine which the Gantry Lift used to be themed but removed for an Unknown Reason, along with Doors on the top that has No known photos or videos to exist but comments told me, & water silhouettes during the ascend; Dramatic music only but retained windows that contains static tentacles & the Wallpaper like blank ocean; Drastically Nerfed in 2017 with removal of special effect including screens & trying to escape from Poseidon; NEW Effect the Kraken's Eye mirror ascending away from the Monster [It didn't work on my 3 rides])-3:07 Roller Coaster Portion, Mid-Course Brake Run, and a Big Splash for the 2nd Plunge (2004-2018: Dramatic music before the thrill, & original track that ages into shakiness; 2019-Present: Major Re-Track to smooth out the whole layout portion plus added the Fork-like staff symbol where bushes used to be on, a hidden original boat if you have good eyes, & an Increased Splash when the boat runs fast enough)-3:50 2nd Pool Flowthrough with an Island-like atmosphere, & dusted props (2004-2018; Looks like just the forest with minimal ancient scenery of the ride's theme along with a clear skyline prior to what's coming; 2019-Present: As the era catches on the Coasters Electric Eel & Emperor are on the Sightlines to take over, but a pool repaint & more S.E.A. scenery added occurred [Likely a Dock that referenced the Opening Year of the Park])-4:23 Station Platform (Aside from Audio focuses on colors, 2004-2018: Ancient realistic Tan Colors; 2019-Present: Forced Dark Blue with the rest of structure, Kraken Mural added later on)-5:10 Read More: https://www.deviantart.com/stash/024j...
