Landscape Photography and Hiking in Kintail - The five sisters of Kintail form one of the most dramatic ridge walks in the Scottish Highlands, so when my friend Ellis Wood got in touch to say he was heading this way, and invited me to join him for a climb, I jumped at the chance! We were pushed for time, so didn't hike the complete route, but headed up the path from Loch Duich to the tops of Beinn Bhuidhe (869m) and Sgurr nan Saighead (929m). The route provided some great views for landscape photography over towards the main peak, Sgurr Fhuraran, as well as looking back west towards the Isle of Skye and Loch Duich.
