A fresh leak from reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed early information about Huawei’s upcoming Mate 80 Pro+ flagship smartphone. The leak points to major upgrades in display technology, camera innovation, performance, and battery life. According to reports, the Huawei Mate 80 Pro+ will feature a 6.88-inch 1.5K LTPO Tandem OLED micro-curved display, offering higher brightness, improved efficiency, and extended lifespan compared to standard OLED panels. On the front, it’s expected to carry a single selfie camera with a 3D ToF sensor, possibly in a triple-hole layout. The rear setup includes a 50MP 1/1.28-inch LOFIC sensor with a variable aperture main lens and a 48MP periscope telephoto camera supporting 3P+3P internal focus, enabling ultra-long zoom and macro photography. Powering the phone could be Huawei’s next-gen Kirin 9030 chipset, offering better performance and efficiency than the Kirin 9020. It may also pack a 6000mAh+ battery with 100W wired and 80W wireless fast charging, along with eSIM and nanoSIM support — a first for Huawei.
