The Geyser Basins of the Lower Loop

This video showcases three of Yellowstone National Parks popular geyser basins. These geyser basins can all be found in the lower loop of the Grand Loop highway. Upper Geyser Basin is most famous for being the home of Old Faithful. However, there are over 150 other incredible thermal features located in this area. In fact, over half of the world's known geysers exist here. The next stop is Biscuit Basin which is home to some nice hot springs and pools. Probably the most famous sight to see here is Sapphire Pool. After this stop, the video then makes a final stop at Midway Geyser Basin which is home to probably the most famous hot spring on the planet, Grand Prismatic Spring. This hot spring was actually featured in various marketing materials for Yellowstone's 150th anniversary. If you are going to Yellowstone National Park, be sure to include these geyser basins in your itinerary. They are legendary and amazing sights to see.
