DeSoto Falls is the best waterfall in all of Alabama in our opinion and one of the best hikes down to a waterfall that we have ever done, one of Alabama's best attractions within DeSoto State Park. The hike down to the bottom of the falls is incredible but a bit hard to find. There is a small cleared area about a quarter mile before you get to the main parking area for DeSoto Falls on your right under some power lines, just as you come around a curve in the road.
