How to convert or resize videos on your PC to YouTube shorts. I found a way to convert any of my videos on my PC to a video that I could upload to YouTube as a YouTube short. My way is free and quick and easy. You don't have to buy a thing or learn any software. What I did was simply play my video on my computer and record with my phone and then upload it to YouTube. However, if you have any type of screen capture program it will make this a lot easier for you instead of recording your monitor with the camera. Because I have over 1200 videos I needed to find a way to speed up the process of finding the best part of the video to record as the YouTube short. What I did is utilize the feature that YOUTUBE provides us and recorded the short section of the video that is most watched or replayed by the viewers. This makes the selection of the video to turn into a short almost instantaneous. I do need to improve the sound quality but overall I'm quite happy. When recording it is a little tricky to get the phone camera and computer monitor lined up correctly, but because the video is only going to be playing for a few seconds. It doesn't matter if you're image is a little bit skewed. I haven't seen anybody else use this method to create a YouTube short. I know a lot of people have large amounts of videos on their channel that they could turn into a YouTube short but they don't have any free and easy and simple way to do it. I think this is the answer. Not many people know this but YouTube now allows viewers to leave a tip by using the thanks button that is below the videos on YouTube at least on some channels.
