In this video I am finally delving into the kinda intimidating world of Victorian sewing, with an 1895 walking skirt. This is my first time hand drafting a project, and it was way more fun than I thought it would be. It’s a wonderful choice for anyone interested in getting started in historical costume, but wants something fairly easy. I think every historybounder should have at least one late Victorian walking skirt in their wardrobe, and I may be planning a few more of these down the road already. I’m not sure why my audio/enunciation ended up particularly crisp in this video. It may only be me that notices it, but yeah, my audio gave me a boatload of grief this time.
