Starting with a view of Largo Luís de Camões, at the gateway to Bairro Alto, I'll head to the lively Largo do Chiado, where Café A Brasileira and the statue of Fernando Pessoa attract tourists day and night. The area is easily accessible, and one of the exits from the Baixa-Chiado metro station is located in this square. Going down Rua Garrett to the Igreja dos Mártires (Martyrs' Church), the excitement continues, but as you continue along Rua Serpa Pinto, you'll begin to experience the tranquility of the streets less visited by tourists. Arriving at Largo de São Carlos, you can take a break in the shade of the trees and admire the beautiful Teatro Nacional de São Carlos. Walking along Rua Capelo and Rua Ivens, you can calmly appreciate the characteristic architecture of this famous neighborhood, which still has so many hidden corners to explore. The tour ends at the peaceful Largo da Academia Nacional de Belas Artes, which on this somewhat warm Lisbon day was quite peaceful.
