I'm venturing outside of my usual fandom spaces to make a giant step that I've been hoping to do for a while. It's intimidating and nerve-inducing to see how people will think and react, but making a song that's purely my own is something I'm very proud of and really hope you all enjoy. 'Our World' is a mixture of elements brought to together, things have both been inspirations to how I make music and topics that coincide with things that I've experienced and wished I'd been told at darker points through my career and life. In the creative spaces, whether we're artists, musicians, songwriters, or anything else, we're constantly overcoming the obstacles of a world that can simultaneously praise what we do and try to stop us from doing it at the same time. And there are many moments over the years where I have personally stumbled and wondered about how I can keep doing what I love despite all these anxieties and worries. 'Our World' is written from words that we all may need to hear during times like this. Whether it be from someone we care about, or an inspiration to us in our field, or even just a general reminder that we're capable of doing all the things we want to do as artists, this song is written for both myself and anyone who struggles with the same anxieties about their craft. To that end, it was a true honour to bring Michael on board as the featured vocalist for the track. When I was writing this piece out and exploring the message I wanted to make, I knew that his voice was perfect for what I needed after our prior experience working together on 'Liquid Gold' for Lackadaisy. It was an honour for him to take part and I was absolutely blown away with what he performed. And for the visuals, bringing back both Cycoriot as my close friend with an impeccable eye for art detailing and composition alongside MrDemoVE who transformed those pieces into some truly beautiful graphics was all I could've hoped for to make this something that is uniquely my own. No matter what the world or your own self might try to tell you during times where it's difficult making your craft or even simply getting by at all, you're not alone. And you can do whatever you put your mind to. Enjoy.
