INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 1-30-26 4 p.m. LOCATION: Metropolitan Detention Center, 535 Alameda St AREA/CITY: Downtown LA DETAILS: Protesters fought with police officers in front of the Metropolitan Detention Center in Downtown LA during an ICE protest. Officers in plain clothes with riot gear were seen pushing back protesters from the property. A large dumpster appears to have been moved to block an entrance to a parking area. Protesters and police continue to fight as night falls. Additional video has been added showing LAPD officers pushing back protesters. Protesters shoved a dumpster fire near the Federal Building after a long day of protesting They stopped LAFD from putting it out LAPD had to give protection to the firefighters to extinguish the fire Injured?
