0:01 Team 1 stats 0:18 Team 1 It will be long, but I'll just copy what I wrote about the pillar mechanic in the insane difficulty video. 1. Destroy at least 5 as soon as you can to get damage buff. 2. Have the certain color of field aura when the boss uses its skill. You want the floor to be blue for the 1st set (destroy last blue as 5th), red for the 2nd set (destroy last red as 5th), and no color for the 3rd set (destroy all of them). 3. Destroy one at a time, and one character can't destroy 2 within 2 seconds. 4. Destroying the one with a refresh icon will reset the stack to 1, so destroy it first, and one with the X will freeze the stack, so destroy it last. 5. Destroying a pillar will set the floor to its color, and remove the color if the floor is a different color. If the floor is the same color, it was a wipe, but I heard it's changed so you have enough time to restart the fight if you did it by mistake. This is why you want to alternate the pillars, but you can destroy either one if the floor doesn't have a color, so you can go blue - red - red - blue - blue if you want. That was long, so the minimum you need to remember is refresh icon first, X last. Start with blue and destroy 5. Then start with red and destroy 5. Then start with blue and destroy all 6. Destroying pillar gives you EX skill meter, and it also reduces EX skill cost of the character who destroy it by half. This goes pretty fast, and I couldn't really play it in other than 1x speed. 6:38 Team 2 stats 6:56 Team 2 Phase 2 is basically keep your party buffed, and use focus fire on the right pillars. The turrets deal more damage against targets under focus fire debuff, and the buffs to your team also go to the turrets (Buffs to character X goes to the turret with X's face icon next to it). The turrets do the most of the damage in higher difficulties. The left pillars will damage your team once their HP maxes out, so use CC against them, but use it after their HP is above 50% which will give the turrets damage buff. It feels really similar to insane in terms of rotation, but the boss HP increase. That's a lot. I didn't remember until I was going through my recordings. I had fun, but it also felt quite busy in phase 1. Especially the healing timing. One mistake, and Wakamo is gone. But once I had enough practice, it felt consistent, kinda like a puzzle game, which is something I can enjoy. If all fight were like this, I might get bored, but every now and then, I like it. Unrelated to Blue Archive at all, but this boss reminded me of Sephirot (not to be confused with Sephiroth) from FF14, both being big with you fighting the upper body, and both punching the arena. I also remember hearing Yesod a lot. For some reason, I remember his other mechanics as what they do, like raid-wide or tethers (and I assume they were also named after tree of life stuff), but I remember the name Yesod specifically, when I don't even remember what the mechanic actually was.
