The plot is simple, I think...: Katherine & Elena are mermaid sisters - twins. One day they see this beautiful man - Stefan. Elena is trying to make a contact with Stefan and they fall in love instantly, but since Katherine is feeling everything Elena feels, she's falling for him too. Then she got jealous because loves Elena and not her. She tried to immitate Elena but Stefan notices that something's wrong. They both give him a choice, either to be with Elena or Kat. Katherine understands that he will never love her as much he loves Elena and decided to kill him. Because "If I can't have Stefan...". After Elena founds out what Katherine did, she decided that she can't live without Stefan and throwed herself on waves and "felt her body dissolve in foam." Katherine was left all alone.
