Viral video: Official yells at visa applicant in New York; watch how Indian consulate responded

Video of an officer at the Indian consulate in New York yelling at a visa applicant has gone viral. The video surfaced in Nov last week & prompted action from Consul General of India, New York. The Consul General promised an investigation into the incident at that time. The video is now being shared & people are coming up with their experiences of visa troubles. Incident reportedly took place on Nov 24 when an Indian woman in New York went for visa processing. In the video, the woman can be heard saying that her father passed away a day before. On the other hand, the officer is seen returning the application & saying, 'take your money’. Pointing his finger, the official was seen saying, 'just keep your money and go out’. On being asked if there was any missing paperwork, the staff apparently refused to answer & went inside. The entire proceeding was recorded on the mobile phone of the person accompanying the woman. He was later told by an official that they were not supposed to use cameras inside the consulate. The consulate later informed that visas were issued to those applicants.
