You can use the microwave or stove to boil the water, and then add the powder. 3) Wait 5-10 minutes or more (at room temperature) for the gel to set. Spoon out a chunk to serve immediately or cut into cubes to freeze for feeding later. You can also dip rocks, driftwood, or decor into the liquid before it sets so that grazing animals can scrape it off. 4) Gel food can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or in the freezer for up to 6 months. 👩🍳 RECIPE FOR DIY FISH FOOD 🍽 Link: https://blog.aquariuminfo.org/diy-fis... Add a little bit of water if the mixture is too thick to mix. 3) Dump the blended food, along with the rest of the gelatin powder, into the water in the pot. Keep on low heat for 30-60 minutes. 4) Once the liquid has cooled a bit, pour into ice cube trays and place in the freezer.
