Live Reporting: On Violence unleashed by Hifazat-e-Islam in the capital's business hub, Motijeel on May 5, 2013. Channel 24... Hifazat-e Islami activists unleashed massive arson and vandalism at Motijheel on May 5 to press for their 13-point demand. Law enforcing agencies conducted a pincer operation during the night to evict Hifazat supporters from there. According to police statement: 13 were killed in Dhaka before that operation was conducted by law enforcers, among then six died in attacks by activists of Hifazat-e Islam. But the violence was massive in a case that the activist gathered in a huge place with a huge number. And they have fire many places. They used various type of bomb, grenade etc. And the face to face fight continues for a long time. It was started around 13.00 and the whole night need for the law and forces unit to manage that. Most importantly there were every force available except the Army. Police, Rab have participated the operation and the BGB came to support them. But this was massive experience to cover a live over there because it was almost a war situation.
