The event honored the work of Todd Shea, an American humanitarian whose organization CDRS (Comprehensive Disaster Response Services) has been operating in Pakistan for two decades. The evening took on a celebratory spirit with a captivating performance by renowned Pakistani singer Quratulain Baloch, whose soulful Sufi renditions and hit songs drew continuous applause and cheers from the audience. A special music segment was also presented by famed Pakistani guitarist Shallum Xavier of the band Fuzon, adding to the cultural vibrance of the event. He noted that Todd Shea’s efforts had long been admired by Pakistanis living abroad. Todd Shea shared details of CDRS initiatives, including medical camps in rural regions, support for orphaned and vulnerable children, clean water and health projects, and ongoing post-flood rehabilitation in Balochistan, Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
