Unknown performer - Eugeniusz Pankiewicz (1857-1898) was a Polish Composer and Pianist. Eugeniusz Pankiewicz was the brother of the painter Józef Pankiewicz. He attended high school in Lublin and took piano lessons there. In 1875 he came to Warsaw with his family and was a student of Józef Wieniawski. After graduating, he continued his piano studies at the St. Petersburg Conservatory with Teodor Leszetycki (Leschetizky) in 1877 or 1878. After a stay in Moscow around 1880, he returned to Warsaw, where he studied composition with Władysław Żeleński and Zygmunt Noskowski. His musical output includes 30 piano works, 15 choral works and a Variations for String Quartet. There is no copyright infringement intended.
