Episode 1 : Luke Howard The new series from the Duncairn 'In Focus' portrays young and emerging musicians who we believe are destined for great things. Each episode will use interviews, live performances and documentary style footage to find out what makes these artists tick. We couldn't have chosen a more worthy subject for the first show than Dublin based musician, pianist, multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter Luke Howard. Born into a musical family, Howard developed a love for playing, creating and expressing himself through music at a very early age. After completing a degree in jazz performance at Dublin's Newpark Music Centre, he sought to create a project in which he could weave together the eclectic strands of music that have influenced him throughout his life. 'Uaim' is the realisation of that process, a place in which he seeks to create a unique and immersive world of his own.
