Link's Journal: Day 13 Mizu (the Zora I met at the domain) showed me the shortcut to Lake Hylia. Navi told me that Lake Hylia was far away so this was very helpful. I had to swim in an underwater cave, but not for very long. Another Zora was there looking around. He seemed too busy to notice me. I was about to head to shore when Navi said she noticed something in the water. I couldn't quite tell what it was. I dove in to get a closer look and it was a bottle. I grabbed it and brought it with me back to land. There was a letter inside. I opened the bottle and read the letter. It was from Princess Ruto. She was inside...Jabu-Jabu's belly? Navi's confused too. She believes we should show this to King Zora. I went back to Zora's Domain through the shortcut and Mizu led me to King Zora's throne room. King Zora was a big Zora. I showed him the letter and he was confused. He said that Lord Jabu-Jabu wouldn't eat Princess Ruto...but he mentioned that since Ganondorf came by, Jabu-Jabu looked sick. I volunteered to go inspect Zora's Fountain (Mizu told me that's where Jabu-Jabu is) and King Zora moved out of the way so I could get there. He told me to find Princess Ruto. Mizu told me that before I go see Jabu-Jabu, I should bring a fish as an offering to him. Well, it wasn't hard to grab one since there were lots of fish in the water of the domain. I hope I can help Jabu-Jabu in some way. Maybe he knows where Princess Ruto is.
