We Found Some Amazing Crystals At The Jim Coleman Mine In Jessiville Arkansas

Jim Coleman Crystal Mine and rock shop is located at 5837 North Highway 7 in Jessieville, Arkansas. To get started, it is best to stop by the Rock shop to sign a digging permit before heading up to the mine. The mine/digging area is actually located at 350 Big Hole Rd, also in Jessieville, Arkansas. They are open 7 days a week from 8 am till dusk. So, get there early and dig all day for only $10.00! Once you have arrived at the mine parking area, you can see the tailings and collecting area. We recommend bringing hand tools to help uncover the crystals beneath the dirt and also a bucket or bag to put your collected crystals in. Also, a sandwich bag or medicine bottle can be very helpful for collecting any tiny specimens that you happen to find. (We found quite a few micro pieces that were absolutely gorgeous!) The weather during our visit was quite sloppy, but we didn't let a little cold weather and rain keep us from finding some awesome crystals! We definitely went home with some very unique pieces from Jim Coleman Crystal Mine and would love to visit again... maybe on a sunnier day next time! 😅 Thank you for joining us on another adventure, and we hope to see you on the next one!
