In a standard Colposcopy, the physician looks through binoculars trying to determine what looks white and what doesn't then making a determination on whether or not to proceed with a biopsy. With our DYSIS system, the computer takes a picture of the cervix every 1 second and is able to tell by looking back at the series of images which areas have the maximal uptake of that vinegar. The areas with the most color suggest where the highest abnormality may exist. We then know exactly where we should biopsy, giving you the most accurate diagnosis with the least amount of invasion.
