International Christmas Project - 3. Advent with Lautitia Mixed Youth Choir (Hungary)

Bringing youth choirs together during the Christmas season despite the pandemic - this was a great wish of the AMJ. Together with the LAG Jugend & Film Niedersachsen e.V. this could now be realized in our "International Christmas Project". For this purpose, the young, dedicated film team traveled to Estonia, Germany, Hungary and Italy on four weekends for film and sound recordings with the four participating choirs. This also gave the young filmmakers and singers a chance to get to know each other. On each Sunday of Advent we would like to introduce one choir to you. In addition, you will get an insight into their Christmas repertoire and the Christmas traditions of the respective country. The choirs themselves were also allowed to get to know and perform a piece from the repertoire of a partner choir. We wish you a happy 3rd advent! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jugendchöre in der Weihnachtszeit trotz der Pandemie zusammenbringen - das war ein großer Wunsch des AMJ. Gemeinsam mit der LAG Jugend & Film Niedersachsen e.V. konnte dies nun in unserem „International Christmas Project“ umgesetzt werden. Dafür reiste das junge, engagierte Filmteam an vier Wochenenden für Film- und Tonaufnahmen zu den vier Teilnehmerchören nach Estland, Deutschland, Ungarn und Italien. So konnten sich auch die jugendlichen FilmerInnen und SängerInnen kennenlernen. An jedem Adventssonntag möchten wir euch nun einen Chor vorstellen. Zudem erhaltet ihr einen Einblick in deren Weihnachts-Repertoire und die Weihnachtstraditionen des jeweiligen Landes. Auch die Chöre selbst durften ein Stück aus dem Repertoire eines Partnerchores kennenlernen und darbieten. Wir wünschen euch einen frohen 3.
