It is spread over 20 acres (8.1 ha) of land. it was constructed in 1902 and is one of the oldest parks in this Coastal Andhra. The water reservoir in the park supplies drinking water to the city.It was named one of the best picnic spots for local citizens. The land for the construction of Mudasarlova was donated by Maharaja Sri Pusapati Ananda Gajapati Raju (Ex-MP, Visakhapatnam) from his family trust. _______________________ Address :- Meghadri Gedda Reservoir , Chintalaagaraharam , Vepagunta , Vizag , Andhra Pradesh , India. Timings :- 24 Hours Open Entry Ticket :- Free Meghadri Gedda Reservoir, officially "Sri Dronam Raju Satyanarayana Reservoir Scheme" is a reservoir and dam in Visakhapatnam, India. It is one of the main water sources of the Visakhapatnam city. Its capacity is 11 MGD and it is maintained by Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation.It was discussed in 1964 state assembly debates as an important project which would help meet the water requirements of the soon to be set up Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, the Hindustan Shipyard, the then Bengal Nagpur Railway, together with the Raiwada Reservoir. _______________________ Address :- Yarada Beach , Yarada Village , Gajuwaka Mandal , Vizag District , Andhra Pradesh , India. It is located near Gangavaram beach, Dolphin's Nose, and Gangavaram Port. This is a very picturesque beach in Andhra Pradesh. _______________________ Address :- Dolphin's nose lighthouse , Dolphin Hill , Near Yarada , Vizag , Andhra Pradesh , India. Timings :- 03:00 PM - 05:00 PM Entry Ticket :- 10/- Dolphin's Nose is a hill in Visakhapatnam between Yarada and Gangavaram Port. The hill is named Dolphin's Nose because it resembles a dolphin's nose. It is a conspicuous land mark in Visakhapatnam. Dolphin's nose is a huge rocky head land which is 174 meters high and 358 meters above sea level. The powerful beacon of the light house set on this rock at sea directs ships 65 km away.A lighthouse on this hill guides ships to enter Visakhapatnam Port. The lighthouse currently uses 7 million candle power that covers up to a distance of 64 kilometers.
