Three days after their murder, Atiq Ahmed's lawyer says a letter written by the slain gangster-turned-politician and his brother Ashraf Ahmed is on its way to CM Yogi Adityanath and the Chief Justice of India. The lawyer said, before the duo's assassination, Ashraf Ahmed told him that the letter contains the name of a senior police official who threatened and boasted the brothers 'will be taken out of jail and eliminated'.
