Sea Kayaking Cornwall 2013 - Land's End at last.

Land's End? You know it just HAS to be good, don't you? Well, it didn't disappoint. I actually planned a day off, to have a bit of a rest day, but knowing the fickle UK weather, days like these have to be exploited fully. I explored a flea market at Pool, Argos at Camborne for a fresh SD card, then made my way to Sennen Cove, thinking that I wouldn't have a cat in Hell's chance of a parking spot, on this, one of the best Sundays of the year. On arrival, it was as predicted, full as a fat lady's shoe, so I decided to give it 5, and see what happens, an lo and behold, the hand of fate appears, and a parking space became available right in front of me!!! If you don't chance your luck, then you deny yourself the chance? The paddle itself was a doddle, the slipway is steep, and would probably need 2 people with a fully loaded boat, but on this occasion, tides were not a problem, there is, obviously some movement, but nothing to worry about, given a neap tide, and light winds. The BIG problem here, is the swell, on the vast majority of days, but this being the summer of 2013, it wasn't, and a fantastic time was had by all. The camcorder died a death, on this day, and wouldn't work, at all, the day after, then mysteriously came back to life, and is still working yet. Another example of our great good fortune, on the whole of this trip.
